Software Developer
Location: Calgary, AB
StockVantage is looking for a talented and passionate Software Developer. Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design and develop enhancements to the current StockVantage system with an eye to new product development.
Required Skills:
- Ability to develop and maintain enterprise class software products with fast-paced deployment schedules.
- Experience in developing commercial enterprise software.
- Knowledge of enterprise Design Patterns, Dynamic web applications, J2EE.
- Knowledge of relational databases, and SQL.
- A passion for working on large software projects and developing elegant solutions to interesting problem sets.
- Strong working and written knowledge of the English language.
Other Assets for this position:
- Knowledge of financial markets.
- Previous agile development experience.
- Experience working with enterprise HRIS system such as JD Edwards, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of WebLogic, Oracle and/or Linux (Unix).
- Open Source experience.
Education: BSc or MSc. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
